Sewing, Sewing and MORE Sewing....

Lots of things in the works! I just received some really wonderful embroidered diaper cuts for my sons trainer pants. We have Ironman, Batman, Spiderman, Optimus Prime, Megatron and Miami Dolphins (hubby's fav football team). I can't wait to finish them all. I am currently working on some Onesize Embellished tab diapers, wipes, mamacloth and my toy patterns for stocking. Speaking of my toy patterns they have finished the first round of testing and I will be tweaking them and doing another quick round of testing. Ready to go are: Lydia & Luca Moses Basket Doll Carrier, Lydi & Luca Doll ( has options for boy, girl, moose, bunny, monkey and bear) and the Lydi & Luca Diaper'N'Bag with Accessories. So exciting!

Breaking in the blog!

This is my first post! Woot! I am just slightly over excited! I recently opened an etsy store for cloth diapers and childrens paraphenalia. http://www.etsy.com/shop/lucababy  I am currently in the process of preparing my own 2 size diaper pattern for sale! Which I have to say is very cool. I am just about ready to start asking for testers so I can work out the bugs. Cloth diapering was something that I wanted to try when my daughter was born ...but I didn't. I let others change my mind. When our son was born I was determined to use cloth. It has been a great choice for our family. It really isn't like it was in your Grandparents day...they are quite user friendly. If you have ever thought of it give it a try. I am going to offer trial packs on my etsy so keep your eyes peeled.
